The Ride to Cure Cancer
The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a non-profit organisation that helps foundations and hospitals across Australia and New Zealand support research, that will reduce the burden of cancer and have a real impact on our communities, across Australia and around the world. The need for innovation, new treatments and prevention strategies have never been greater. Cancer is the second leading cause of Australian deaths with 1 in 2 Australians affected.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer is an incredible, 2 day, 200km fully-supported ride held in QLD, NSW, VIC, WA and NZ. This event isn’t just for athletes or cycling enthusiasts. The Ride to Conquer Cancer is for anyone who wants to challenge him or herself for a cause that touches everyone. All you need is motivation, a bike and a helmet. Day one of the ride culminates with arrival at Camp where the participants enjoy hot showers, catered food, yoga classes, massages and entertainment.
LovEarth provides yoga mats that are used by the cyclists. The donation of yoga mats not only allows for yoga to be enjoyed by all, but also reduces event costs, which means more funds to support cancer research and care.
